1. The service

Peptides Vault is a knowledge-base service for peptides research. The service indexes documents you provide (and curated open-access papers from PubMed and Europe PMC) and answers questions with citations back to those documents. It does not provide medical advice.

2. Not medical advice

Answers generated by Peptides Vault are summaries of research literature and are not a substitute for advice from a licensed medical professional. Do not use Peptides Vault as the sole basis for medical decisions.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable use

Do not upload content you do not have the right to use. Do not attempt to circumvent rate limits, run automated scraping against the chat endpoint, or use the service to generate content for illegal purposes.

5. Plan limits and pricing

The Free plan provides 1 vault, 100 sources, and 50 chat queries per month. The Pro plan ($19/month) provides 5 vaults, 2,000 sources, unlimited chat queries (fair-use 2,000/month), and the ScholarFlow auto-update feature. Plan limits may change with 30 days' notice; existing subscribers retain their current pricing for one billing cycle after any change.

6. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time from the Billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Full refund within 7 days of first payment, no questions. After 7 days, we do not provide pro-rated refunds for partial months.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. We will provide reasonable notice when feasible.

8. Liability

The service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim.

9. Changes to these terms

We will email registered users at least 30 days before any material change to these terms takes effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
